Personalized travel planning from Miles of Memories & Co.
Behind the name
Allena Travel was first created by my mom when I was a child. Years later, I brought the name back as a way to carry a piece of my family's legacy forward while helping other families experience more of the world together. That vision has since grown into Miles of Memories & Co., a space that celebrates not only where families go, but the meaningful life they're building along the way.

Two ways to begin
Some travelers enjoy browsing and booking independently. Others would rather have personalized help sorting through the options. Both are available through Allena Travel! Whichever path you choose, I'll be here as your support and advocate as you prepare, while you travel, and after you return home.
Helpful details
Cruises have always been a favorite, but they aren't the only kind of trip I plan. I can help with thoughtfully selected cruises, resorts, family vacations, and other travel experiences shaped around your family's interests, needs, budget, and preferred pace. I can also help with extended-family and group travel, including family reunions, milestone celebrations, multigenerational trips, and group cruises.
Standard planning includes one household or traveling party, one general destination or cruise region, one primary date window, up to three thoughtfully selected options, and one consolidated revision. If you'd like to compare several destinations, months, departure ports, or entirely new trip directions, we'll pause and talk about the best way to narrow the search before continuing.
Yes! I can help families plan reunions, milestone celebrations, multigenerational vacations, group cruises, and other trips involving multiple households. Depending on the trip, that may include comparing destinations, coordinating accommodations or cabins, organizing shared travel details, and helping everyone understand important dates and next steps.
My experience planning corporate events in my full-time career also gives me a strong foundation for managing the additional details involved in bringing a larger group together. Because group travel often requires more research and coordination, we'll talk through the planning process and level of support involved before getting started.
No. For qualifying trips booked through Allena Travel, I'm generally paid by travel suppliers through commission already built into their pricing. I don't add a separate markup or planning fee to standard booking support, whether you work with me personally or book through my online site.
I may still be able to help! If your flights, accommodations, cruise, or other essentials are already in place, I can thoughtfully plan the days in between. From activities and dining to pacing, transportation, and practical details, we'll create an itinerary shaped around how your family wants to experience the trip. Because itinerary-only planning is separate from booking support, we'll discuss availability, scope, and next steps before any work begins.
Flight booking is not included in my standard travel-planning services. Booking directly gives you flexibility to compare airports, schedules, seating, loyalty points, and fare options. I'll recommend arrival and departure windows that coordinate with your itinerary, but you'll generally select and book the flights that work best for your family. If airfare is required as part of a specific travel package, we'll discuss how it will be handled before booking.
Booking a quick cruise or vacation online may be easy, but making the reservation is only one part of the trip. Whether I help you choose and book your vacation personally or you make the reservation through my Allena Travel online booking site, you still have me as your travel advisor at no additional cost to you.
You'll have a real person to contact with questions, changes, or problems before, during, and after your trip. Instead of spending your time waiting on hold, being transferred between departments, or following up with the supplier yourself, let me know what you need and I'll handle the runaround on your behalf.
When applicable, I'll also monitor relevant promotions or pricing changes before final payment and help determine whether your reservation may qualify for an adjustment. Changes and price reductions cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to supplier rules, availability, fare terms, and any effect on included perks.
Earlier is usually better, especially for cruises, school-break travel, larger families, or trips with specific accessibility needs. Availability varies, so reach out even if your trip is approaching. I'll let you know honestly whether I can help within your timeframe.
Yes. My son is a full-time wheelchair user, so I understand firsthand how important it is to consider accessibility from the very beginning. I can help you think through accommodations, transportation, mobility, pacing, cabin or room setup, and other practical details using both my travel expertise and my family's own experience.
Every traveler's needs are different, so I'll listen carefully to what matters for your family and work with suppliers to confirm the available accommodations. While I cannot personally guarantee a supplier's accessibility, I can ask thoughtful questions, research available information, and help identify the details that should be confirmed before you travel.
